Dyslexia is a new word for me. I google it, and I found this...
"Why is dyslexia a gift? Dyslexic people are visual, multi-dimentional thinkers. They are intuitive and highly creative, and excel at hand-on learning." Now #2 all make sense. ;)
In my case I am lucky; my level of dyslexia falls into around level 3 - 4 (on a scale of 0 - 10). I do not have all of the problems that severe or total dyslexics have; in fact I was not actually diagnosed until I was in the military. When I was younger I was just categorized by the school system as a slow reader. For the most part no one would realize in my day to day activities that I have the problem; but when I get tired I jump up to a level 8 and start having Auditory Dyslexia, which is a real pain. If anyone is interested in learning more about the condition, this web site gives a great overview, and links to other useful information on treatments, self-help, and ways to deal.
